As they say, a picture says a thousand words.

Suggestions? That bolt is seized in the timing case.

Heat on it? (sounds risky to me).

Destroy the timing case to access the bolt then get another one?

All suggestions appreciated.

I come across this often.
Try constant tapping of the end of the broken bolt until you see the corrosion around the bolt shank start to loosen, then I use a Wurth product called Rostoff Ice which lowers the temp of the item when you spray it, then use a chuck type stud remover which normally has the desired effect.
You have a good chance to remove it as it has a good length still proud of the casing.....
Good Luck!
