bmw and remapping

have seen on web that some .people have had remapping done by their own dealer.Any idea on this?

I very much doubt BMW dealers are offering remaps. A very quick way to lose the franchise if they are though.

Hi agent doing a bit of lateral thinking, will ring rossiters(the ac scnitzer distributor)tomorrow and ask if their remapping is authorised, do not want to risk my warrenty whatever anyone says on the forums that they cant be detected.
