Just press the loud pedal firmly. No need for fuse trickery on the spyder. If the weather isn't great and you have to keep the roof up you can drop the rear window to enjoy the noise.

err... reverse quickly with the hood on and the rear window down.

The result - no more hood.

Assuming it's an e-gear
They will really love you if you if you try some launches

Put the car in neutral
foot on the brake
turn on sport/turn off traction -- holding the sport button for a few seconds

then hit the accelerator - but it must be 100% throttle - any hesitation and it wont work

Don't do it too often though as it will rip through the rear tyres and burn out the clutch

but thats what rental cars are for smile

Here is a nice video showing you what happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJdXYVEEeQY

well, done 130 miles in it so far. Its absolutely awesome, but I know now supercar ownership isnt for me. Far too much planning on the route involved - where are speed bumps, which road is smoothest etc. However, its definitely fed by bug a little, and glad I have the opportunity to try it out.

The acceleration is simply awesome, and that noise.. I cant describe it, its simply automotive porn

I've yet to find a speed bump the Gallardo wont go over, only time people get it wrong is where they brake just before the "bump", throwing the car forward so reducing the ride hight
