Hey guys, whilst doing some research for a replacement digi dash, I noticed that not only did my Tam seem to be a bit behind on the software version,(v 5.0) but also that the flicking of the needles and the green/yellow/red sequence seemed extremely slow. There is a large gap between turning the key and the needels flicking. Then there is a longer gap between the needles flicking and the lights flashing. Is this just a factor of the ECU software or should I be looking elsewhere? If it is the software will an update sort it, and whats the difference?

My sofware (Sagaris 05) says V0.0 - no idea if thats good or bad, but the needle dance is a per all TVR's I`ve seen (i.e. fast)

Do the needles swing slowly? or is it the time taken for them to swing slow?

Sorry, should have explained myself better. The needles swing quickly, then there is a good 15-20 second gap until the lights flash. In other later cars the process seems much quicker ie turn key, needles, beep beep beep, and away.

I have no answer for you, but can confirm the dials and the beeps all happen much quicker than that.
