I know nothing about le mans....help

I went for the first time last year at the last minute with my son. I was ripped of big time for a camping place because it was last minute though. I drove across on the friday afternoon which is the day before the race. It was great but i never realy saw the other attractions that were held during the weeks build ups which are held in and around the towns of Lemans. Fact is like you i never knew where anything was and what was what. But the cars on the track were enough for our first visit.
This year i am driving across on the Thursday morning now i know the main days for celebrations is on the Thursday and the Friday. And because i ordered a camp pitch early it cost me alot less.
So this year will be my first organised 4 days in Lemans. I am emailing you my number if you want to hear of my first time experiences if you dont find what you need in this thread.

This will be our 6th time and it is a brilliant event we go thursday come back monday the atmosphere is fantastic and ther is so much to do I will list a few things we do thursday we just go to the village after putting up the tents etc friday morning drive to Arnage where everybody meets then drive back down mulsane and stop at hundries cafe and watch the red sparrows and the all the exoctica stop outside friday evening drivers parade in Le Mans town centre then back to the campsite for some fireworks saturday morning try a watch some of the clasic cars race if we did not have too much 
then buy some stuff from the village t-shirts etc then watch start of race bit of food watch more of the race see where our cars are we do a sweep then of to tet-rouge bar then watch the race from as much of the track as poss. More beers and back to camp and drive to arnage to watch the cars there back to camp for more beers and fireworks grab a few hours sleep uo at dawn to watch the race brill at that time of the morning breakfast and then find out where the cars I have in sweep strike camp watch end of race then drive to rouen and stay in a formule1 and go to a restuarant to eat decent food get up monday and drive to boulogne what more could you want.
We have got spare tickets 2 entry tickets 2 grandstand tickets 1 camping pass all we want is the face value for them

Well first thing, when you arrive remember the Gaunlet lock your doors windows etc. No all the water pistol's have water in them!. When you drive down to your camp site
What substance is in them? This sounds disturbing
Avoid the roundabout next to Houx Annex and the main road through Arnage on Friday afternoon/evening and you probably won't see anyone with a waterpistol, let alone get sprayed with water/worse.
Thankfully the chav element are relativly easy to avoid if you don't go looking for them.
