Best place to stop over outside calais on way to the 'ring

Hi all, anyone recommend somewhere to stay outside Calais? We are on our way to the ring on the 12th June and taking the 20:20 Eurotunnel over to Calais. We are looking for somewhere to stay where we can get a beer and bite to eat nearby. I'm guessing a small town would be ideal, suggestions appreciated. Anyone else going that weekend?

Stayed at Lille before, it's about half an hour away from Calais en route to the 'ring. Plenty of places there, usually use Accor Hotels.

There's a blinding Chinese in the City centre as well.
