Its that time of year and the 360 needs belts and service. Has anybody used Grimaldi engineering in Halstead Essex? Any recommendations?????

Think a few of the guys on here have used them. Haven't heard a bad word about them yet.

I'll let you know when I pick the 308 up on Saturday. Roberto seems a good guy, has a good pedigree and seems to have the same view as me about certain "specialists"...he's clearly invested in the right "kit" too, from what I could see.

Lancaster's offer good service ( i have no connection by the way) and if your car is over 4yrs you get a discounted rate plus if required they will pick the car up.

Best advice is to go down there and see Rob and Annabellick and have a chat with him about your car, my Murci is due a big service and I went and see them yesterday and Rob took a couple of hours out to go through everything with me and my concerns.

He will go through everything with you and answer any questions you have.

Go and speak to him, his rates are good too, plus you will get a lovely cuppa from the lovely Annabel.

Agreed, I use Lancasters in Colchester and get the discount, very good service. But its a pity they split the showroom and the service centre so you cannot ogle the metal for sale anymore, but should not complain as last time I went to pick up my car the only other car outside on a Saturday morning was a new unregistered Enzo.

Grimaldi engineering are the best at Lamborghini,Maserati and Ferrari Servicing. i have just spent quite alot with rob i have just had a full engine rebuild done and i was so pleased at the procress report's i got always kept me informed of what was going on. I have known rob and annabel for about 2 year's and there lamborghini customer's have grown because of myself having nothing but top quality work done by rob and i have just recommed him to Lamborghini people and annabel is just so nice to have a chat with. All i can say is just go there and you will not be disapointed. I would personilly have no one else touch my Urraco for work

Thanks

Sounds good Leslie . I personally wouldn't let anyone other than Mike Pullen work on my 6.0/SuperL/Lp640 etc

I used them a lot whilst I had my 355 spider. They were absolutely brilliant.
When I get a 360 it will go there as well.

Very helpful and didnt mind me standing around watching.

I don't think anyone who's met Mike could ever see him calling it a day biggrin

Leslie, I am surprised at your comment on Mike. Difficult also to see how he could "blow the engine to bits" with a poor carb tune too...how did this mainfest itself?

To redress the balance slightly, I've just collected my 308 from Grimaldi and may need to take it back - the water temp reached 280 degrees on the way back - I've never seen it above even 210....I'm sure it's nothing, but when Elias Elia looked after the car, I didn't have any such problems....
