Hi there,

Anyone whos at a loose end this weekend and fancies heading down to the Cheltenham area should head over to the La Vie en Bleu event at the Prescott Hill Climb circuit.

This weekends event is hosted by the Bugatti Owners Club and according to this weeks Autosport there is expected to be up to 10 Veyrons attending.

More details can be found here: -

http://www.bugatti.co.uk/lavie.aspx

On the organisers site is says that they have had 6 Veyrons confirmed (possibly a seventh) including a demonstration run 'up the hill' by the 'works' Bugatti Veyron.

Would love to head over myself but am working at Rockingham for the British GT event.

If anyone from here does go, PLEASE PLEASE get loads of pics.

Regards

Tim

Hi there,

Did anyone manage to get along to this today ??

Can't make it myself but have been having a look on the net and it looks as though there were 3 Veyrons present today. (not bad for a pratice/qualifying day)

Here are a couple of pics I found on Flickr

Have to say the photo below is a corker, Veyron looks great.

Looks like those of you going tomorrow will have a great day.

Regards

Tim

Yawn, can you come up with an original opinion? As for a 'proper Bugatti', would you like to tell us all what that consists of? Do you write off pretty much every racing Bugatti in existance because they've all been crashed and had parts replaced? Is a touring bodied Bugatti not a real one, because of the marque's racing provenance? How about all the turbocharged cars, a method of induction that Ettore didn't like? What about the massive Royale? I'm under the impression that a lot of 'proper Bugatti' owners have bought Veyrons, so maybe they know something you don't.
