Hi
I am looking very seriously at an S1 Elise for bit of fun but I might want to swap the standard seats for something more comfortable. Is this a big job?

Roof off, and its about 20 minutes per seat to take out and replace

4 Allen bolts hold them in, plus the seatbelt

I replaced mine with Sport 160 seats - much more comfortable than the standard ones

I've fitted S1 111S seats into my car. A bit more padding and much more comfy over a long drive. Very easy job. Lotus trim shop will also re-trim in pretty well whatever takes your fancy. Alternatively you can send boggo seats to Lotus and they'll fit the Probax padding as per the new cars and re-trim them for you. Have a look on B&C and Hanger 111S websites for an idea of costs.
