well we have found out what has killed 7 batteries in the last year, and I would like to thank Halfords for their continual support by changing my battery under warranty bowtiehehe

Any one know what the yellow delay relay is off so I can get another, unfortunaly all the numbers on mine are unreadable.

Can't check for you as I'm not near my car at the moment, but...

Steve Heath's book refers to the interior light delay relay as a pt no. M0383 ... though don't know if this is a TVR or a general product code. The links below refer to general use 'yellow' relays that were used by TVR....

I remember reading somewhere (may be an older thread) that it is a Ford Escort part and quite expensive if purchased new.

Notice the below on ebay that might be worth following up: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Escort-Mk6-Mk7-Interior...

On mine its the yellow M0383 one, same as a couple of others. IS top right on my Fusebox IIRC, although i guess it may be in adifferent place on yours.
