Width of the Ultima stated at 1850mm , my garage 2200mm ,ok im in the garage but will the door open up and can i get out . Plus i will have to reverse in as the drive sweeps round, all done on wing mirrors ,do you see any problems as i have never driven one yet .
Many thanks John

reversing the GTR with mirrors takes some practise!! but i dont think you will have any issues with your garage size.

With one door fully open 2180mm but it does go wider than that as it opens so if your 2200 is wall to wall then I would think it is a non starter.
If your drive is level then I have seen people with large cars line them up, get out, then push the car in.

We could try a test fit with mine sometime.

With a can-am the doors open vertically so no problems opening them and getting out in a narrow garage. Reversing using the mirrors is OK too. Not much help if you want a GTR though.

I'm inclined to agree with Steve on this one. That sounds pretty tight. My garage is 2700mm and that is about as tight as I'd like for 2 reasons. One is when I work on it, I always seem to have one side too close to the cabinets and can't get my hips between the car and the cabinets to get down under the car. The other is the doors opening. If I'm off center just a little, one of them touches the cabinet as it reaches the top of its swing. Don't get me wrong, 2700mm works but it isn't too roomy either.

It is an absolutely incredible car, so if you can make it work you should go for it!

Good luck,
Paul

Had another measure trying to make it more accurate this time and 2180mm is the worst case.
