On the 6th July the Cannonball Run Europe 2008 will be leaving Sandown Pak, Esher, Surrey. The entrants cars will be arriving at approximately 10:00am and are set to depart at 12:30pm. Pistonheaders will be welcome at the same time. There is ample free parking for ALOT of cars at Sandown & there will also be a bacon sarnie stall too!

This years Cannonball Run Europe has a number of amazing cars taking part (I'm sure there are also a few spaces left if you're interested!) including many Ferraris, Lambos & Porches. A 6 day, 3000 mile drive will be ahead of them aswell as an exclusive track day at a well known F1 cicuit somewhere in Europe, amazing parties & incredible camaradarie.

I think Sandown would make a great venue for a meet & look forward to seeing you there. driving

Had to bump this one back up, let us know if your coming along. Loads of parking & a chance to meet up with plenty of likeminded car nuts!

Right then, whats the spec with parking at an event like this, are the roads likeley to be crawing with Surreys finest, what time would we need to arrive? will we be allowed into Sandown park car park even though we are not entering the run?

Come down about 11am, parking is plentiful & free....as for the BiB, they shouldnt be a worry.wink It's not like we'll be doing anything illegal!

came along but was disappointed.

Im sure the guys taking part will enjoy themselves, and i know the weather wasnt good.. but i thought you guys would have put on more of a show.?

where were all the stickers?! surely you need to feel like your taking part in something?!

good luck to all the participants.

Was quite smitten with the Viper in the car park TBH, at least until I saw Nods' cars in the participants area. I assume there were no stickers due to the dislike of them by the French and German police.

My thoughts too.. most interesting cars in the car park!

Surely they they are not worrying about upsetting the authorities?! isnt that whole point?! When I took part the decals where really the thing that set you apart on the road...

personnaly I think this sort event 'warrants' show-boating.. (safely of course.), and the venue didnt really allow that.
