The stitching around my rear window has come undone for about 12" and the window is gaping open. Does anyone know of a North West place that could deal with it or is it a possible DIY repair ?

I stitched mine back up myself, think i used Nylon thread (cottons to weak), decent needle & thimble
Its not an easy job, time consuming & very boring, but almost free!
Best done with targa roof panel removed, kneel on seat facing towards back of car, you'll probably have to keep getting out of the car & walking around the back of the car & thread back through, if you know what i mean.......

Hi

I got my stiching repaired at RVT, and it was fine.

But you might be better with a new rear screen, if all the stiching is starting to go.

Try:
http://www.cctrim.co.uk/welcome.htm

they are in sandbach and I think its about £200 for a complete new screen.

& say hello to my Cerbera which is there having had new carpets.

What Bryan said ^^^

Get a BIG needle, thimble, nylon thread and maybe a pair of pliers. It's actually quite easy as you use the original holes.
