One of the big teams needs to sign Vettel now imho. (I'd be surprised if he hasn't already.)
And the best place for him I think is Ferrari.
Or BMW, Or maybe Renault.
World Champion of the future I think. In fact his performances last year marked him out. Japan and Monte Carlo just confirm.

Was checking his lap times for much of the second half of the race and he was as quick as anyone else.

I heard a rumour quite some time ago that he was going to Ferrari, kinda fits with the other rumour that Kimi may decide to retire at the end of the season.

Red Bull in '09 and then it depends upon management and costs. May go to BMW if results improve and their driver line up changes in 09 too.

Both DC and Webber's contracts expire soon, so promotion to RBR is a big possibility.

Belleair is well informed. It's entirely possible that BMW have an option on him should Red Bull decide not to continue to contract him (I haven't heard anything on that though) . He has a contract for the main team in his pocket for next year and I think it highly unlikely Mateschitz will decide to can the team in 2010 (that's Red Bull, not STR of course).

Neither DC nor MW have yet signed contracts for next year....

well BMW took him as their test driver a few years back and released him back to the red bull group (i think he originally came from teh redbull driver programme - even when driving for BMW he had a red bull helmet) so that he could race. they know the quality the guy has so i'd be very surprised if they didn't have some sort of option on him.

i know there are loads of rumours about but i'd heard that mclaren wanted him ahead of heikki for this season, especially following his fantastic performances at the end of last year.

i really rate him, and he's a fantastic guy as well, i've was there from his first test with BMW and i reckon he'll go very far.
