Just had a little weekend away in Northern France
and "My God", talk about a star.

I have never seen so many people gather round
the car in my life.

Those "Froggies" are car mad, well especially
for The Noble, which to be honest I don't
think they have seen at all.

It made me feel like a film star (ha ha ha).

Nice weekend though.

Went to Monte Carlo last year for the F1. Guy at the hotel in Nice recognised the car straight away, which like you say is a bit of surprise given they probably don't appear too often down there.

I took mine down the year I bought mine to watch the GP. At one point I parked up next to a bunch of Fezzers and Lambos, but nobody even looked at them, they just stood and took pics of the M12 !

I drove down the week before the Race and had a 'drive' through the tunnel a few times. Priceless.

But yes, you are right. The French really do like the Noble.

....Mmm, must to that again some time soon !

I was in Monaco the week after the race in my old Rover Tomcat. I had my leg in a brace and couldn't walk without crutches...but it didn't stop me from getting my FWD car flat sideways exiting the swimming pool biggrin

They closed the tunnel on the Saturday evening before the race when I was there frown.
There's another smaller tunnel next to it so I just pretended smile.

Managed to sneak down to Mirabeau from Casino Square and the Hairpin while a policeman was busy telling someone else they couldn't go down there hehe.

Oh you know N2H, finally managing to spend more time back in blighty again.

The 3.5L never came to fruition in the end. I needed to be in the country to monitor the progress.
The last time I tried to get a new engine in my car when I wasn't here almost ended up in court. No kidding.

The Race car has a roll cage now, and the engine recently came back from the tuners. He recons it'll be good for 360 bhp, without too much messing about.

Just need to get it to the 'ring for next year, so we can do some testing with it.

Yep, it's nice to be back. Shame so many have sold on.....

Not that I'll ever sell up of course. Not that anybody would by a 10 year old Noble with over 100K on the clock anyhow !

So are you still looking at the Gallardo still ?
One of my partners in Romania has one, eye watering running costs !
