Hi there

I have a few scratches I want to try and eradicate. I want to buy one of those chipstick thingies.
Problem is what colour do I go for. The car colour is TVR Imperial Blue, but is this a standard colour or is it from a major manufacturer and re-named?
Is TVR Imperial Blue maybe a standard Ford or Vauxhall colour?

If I go to Halfrauds or similar, what do I ask for?

It's a special colour for TVR with extra metalflake in I believe so not quite the Ford colour. I have the colour code at home, will try to post it tonight.

Try http://www.paints4u.com/

They mixed up some touchup paint for me and it's spot on. Just email them with your requirements.

There was a thread about Imperial Blue about a month ago, I seem to remember the conclusion is that there is more than one "Imperial Blue" so it would be worth searching for the information.

I know that my car is a different Imperial Blue to others the same age, and that's from having the cars parked next to each other and seeing the difference.

Found it now, here is the link.

Hi guys

Thx for all that. Checked the last thread and those cars look darker than mine. Maybe just the light.
Mine is shown below. (Hope this photo works!!!)

Cheers

Give a TVR Paint shop a call, and they should be able to do you a chipstick and post it to you.

I know that http://www.tvrbodyshop.co.uk/ can do them
