OK - I've found what I think is a nice example. A 2003 with 10K on the clock. No engine rebuild (yet).

First question. How much would you pay for a car like this (from a TVR dealer - if there is such a thing these days). She is in excellent external condition.

The car will be sold with a warranty - which apparently has no single claim limit - apparently worth £1500. Now if I was buying a car privately, I'd prefer to have one that had had a recent rebuild, and I'd also get the car inspected (e.g Rob Ingelby or similar). However, as the car is under warranty and I personally could only pick minor faults, should I be confident buying it?

Hope all that makes sense smile

May not have a claim limit, but worth checking for any exclusions on cover/mileage.

£1500 for 6 month warranty, i dont think so, but D>G are good people and know a lot more about TVRs than the person you were going to have inspect it.

Looks like a decent price, for a dealer. DH always treated me well; I kept using them long after they were a sensible choice.

I'd expect a 6 month warranty to be worth more like £500 - £750, mind.

This looks to me like a tidy example with low mileage and a farily high , although not unreasonable, price. Difficult to tell from a PH photo though, you might want to speak to the previous owner to chaat about its history and treatment..........
