Rubber door seals.....

Hi I want to take out the pot rivets on the plastic panels that seperate the side rear glass panels and wondered if I should pull back the rubber door seals just enough so I don't damage them taking out the rivits. Are they glued in or wedged in a tight gap. Or do I just grin and bear it while drilling them out?

I believe they are glued and 3 pop rivets. Try not to damage the door seals. Get something to use a sheild or shim to keep the bit away from the seal like a putty knife.
