All,

Hoping someone can help... I have some Tein HA coilovers on my Integra and am trying to lower the ride height. This is done by lowering the spring seat (not the newer ones where you twist the shock), I have the spanners and have tried to unlock the seat lock. The bottom part of this is fine and came loose easily, however the top half of the seat lock won't move. Is this because it is seized or is there some special way of doing it?

If it is seized, what is the best way to loosen it without damage? I have tried WD40 but it has not worked.

Cheers

right then.... you've got a few options dude.
1st.... try using a set of stilson's, rather than the 'c' spanners, you can get more leverage... if they still wont budge, grip the stilsons on and gently tap with a large hammer!
if that doesnt work...
2nd.... get hold of a heat gun... a butane/propane one, not a poxy air blowing thing, and work the damper with the heat, this should loosen things up a little.

in the past the first option has always worked for me!!

let me know how you get on!!
