Hi all,
In a bit of a bind, and was wondering if anybody could help?

I work for CG-Lock and we will be displaying this weekend at the Silverstone Japanese Tuning Show on the 1st.

Problem is, our Latest Gen Scooby (see CG-Lock website) has just spewed it guts all over the motorway and there is no chance to get it back on the road in time for the show. So we have eveything sorted, but now no car!

We require a car for our stand, preferably a modern top-end show-quality car in which people would be allowed to sit in and nothing else. If you have been to any of our other shows you will realise just how precious we are with peoples cars. No gear changing etc etc. Some statics and magnetic decals will be applied but these to not mark the paint in any way, we've had them on Loti, Ferraris etc and no problems.

You will also get free entry with an exhibitors pass, obviously free parking and it should be a cracking day anyway. We have a PA and lovely model so come on in and enjoy the day! You can even help us on the stand if you wish! lol

We do have a demo chair which is used for most demonstrations but would like the chance of an extra seat where we can sit people down and talk them through the benefits of a CG-Lock when the crowds come.

We would require the car from the show start, until the end of the day if possible, although early exit may be possible. Times to be confirmed.

For you trouble, we will fit two CG-Locks which you are free to take away with you which have a value of £90 so not a bad deal for the lend of a car!

If anybody is interested then please call 07776 258690 or email me at martrider@hotmail.com with a mobile number, make model and spec of your car, any interesting points about the car and if possible a photo. I've already had a number of people interested so will choose the best car and friendliest owner! lol

Thanks for your time,

Regards
CG-Lock Team. (Martin)

Oh Well.... that rules out my manky old WRX Wagon hehe

However, i highly recommend CG-Locks!! I've had CG-Locks for my passenger and myself now for almost 3 years and for everyday/spirited B-road driving they are pretty awesome. They do exactly what it says on the tin!! yes

As good as they are though they won't replace my harnesses on a trackday but then i wouldn't wear a harness everyday so CG-Locks rule!! thumbup

Hey Guys, we found a car through a member on here and had a very successful show.
Thanks to all that attended and joined us on the day, a lot of new friends and what a car on the stand!

I'll try and upload some photos later on.

If any of you havn't been to an EDC Event yet, then i really recommend trying to get along to the next one.

The atmoshphere is fantastic, very different to a normal race meet and even the Girlfriend is now a convert!

Thanks again to Liam for the car.

Regards

Mart

Well done mate, i've not got round to even getting the camera out of the car!

I must say, i've always been a huge fan of the RX7, way beyond any other japs and this is pretty much spot on what i would have done if i have time or the space! I've too many projects as is!

I completly forgot to ask what the wheels were? I'm trying to find exactly those with a Mercedes 112PCD, ET not cruicial to be honest as i gan get them turned down if it's too much.

I love them. They're so similar to a sharp design that TVR did on a particular Tuscan, can't remember which spec. But they are awesome. I think the TVR ones were Speedline?

Anyway, let me know so i can search! And thanks again for the lend, i'm very jealous.

Decided if you are selling yet? OR have you changed your mind?
