Improved temperature sensor ??

I have just modified the location of the temperature sensor by removing the Brass chunk and then tapping the metal insert to fit the sensor. The end of the sensor is now right below the thermostat in the coolant. Why didn't TVR do this.???

If you don't want that "brass chunk", I'll have it. I have broken mine and can't get a new part. Don't think I'm up to drilling and tapping though!!!

Great idea though!!

Struggling to get the brass bit either replaced or made.
