TV in motion?

just thinking about getting my 56 plate 5 series altered so the digital tv works while i,m driving, anyone have this done and is it worth having it done? i realise in some areas the picture and signal will be lost but in general is it worth it?

It's actually illegal to have TV in motion, unless you are carrying passengers. But if you want to do it, there are harnesses you can buy which will do the job

Don't do it, its worryingly distracting... My friend was watching something on a lap top on the passenger seat once and as much as I tried to ignore it, I found myself glancing over for longer and longer periods... especially in boring 40-50 mph traffic.

I asked him to turn it off, decided it wasn't worth it.... If you do turn your TV on build a screen to obscure it from view or something. Anything good on TV and it is nearly as hazardous as driving past an attractive woman... in that you just won't be looking where you are going.
