Dizzy wanted

Anyone got an old / broken one lieing around gathering dust? Need one to plug the hole, but needs to be pre serp. Could even be prehistoric. Don't care about the condition, as long as the shaft and lower gear are ok.

May have, as I remember stripping one for bits and just had a body and lower gear left, can look at the weekend if ok

That would be perfect, as it seems a shame to ruin a good dizzy. Drop me a mail if you find it.

Converted the Wedge to Megasquirt ECU last winter, fuel only and this winter converted to wasted sparks, using Ford coil packs. I wanted an old dizzy to make a plug for the hole in the timing cover, but still drive the oil pump. I didn't want to use my own dizzy as if I f**ked it up I'd have no Wedge to play with.

It's going on the rolling road on Tuesday to get everything mapped and we'll see how it goes from there.

right found it in the shed this evening, as described bare dissy with oil pump drive still attached.
