Just interested in your average monthly running costs if you don't mind.
Also, is there much in cab space, as i'm 6'6 and fitting in most sport type cars is a pita.

mk4, should have specified really.
the missus has told me I need to buy something more exciting than a vectra and a supra fits that in her and my eyes smile
so I need to see if I can fit in one etc first.

Cheers for the suggestion, i'll look at the forum soon smile

one other thing to consider is American cars like a Corvette - they are built for big yanks.

So was the Supra, the USA was it's single biggest market.

JamieP I'm guessing is a big chap, PM him and ask his opinion.

That's a bit full on, you'll never pull like that.

Hiya.
I own a 1986 2.8i Celica Supra. Had it since 1991 !

Due to an intermittent starting problem it has been parked up for some while. However, all that is about to change.

I have just started restoring it as I always missed the feel of driving it. It got looks, ( and pleas for me to sell it ! ), where ever I went. I used to love going head-to-head with the old Capri 2.8s. Happy days.

Despite the expense of the restoration, ( and fuel ), I hope to have it going again asap. As soon as I can source a fuel pump for it !

All the Best.

I have a MK4 N/A Manual Supra, not the fastest thing in the world but it still has enough power to go head to head with the likes of Type R’s and other smaller hot GTI’s etc.

Its great fun being RWD with an LSD also, tail end action is about as good as it gets IMO.

Twin Turbo’s are a lot better in terms of speed, however you will pay for it in purchase price, running costs and repairs.

They are pretty bullet proof in N/A or Turbo charged, I’m 6’3 and don’t need the seat adjusted right back.
