Have sorted the overfuelling issue but now seem to have hesitancy, stuttering when giving it a bootful! Any ideas welcome other than not giving it a bootful! Also seems to cut out, want to cut out when coming to a stop. Have set base idle, have set throttle pot/body, cleaned stepper motor et al a bit stuck now
Mine was doing this last year, intermitently. I changed the petrol station I used and the fuel filter. I also checked the leads, plugs, coil, etc, and, touch wood, everything has been fine since. If all of this fails, it might be worth checking the two relays by the battery housing. When I was having problems this was mentioned by a reliable source as being a possible cause. Good luck!
