Upgraded to new Tuscan S discs last weekend and found a split track rod end rubber while I was about it. Simple job, simple plan, I thought, get a new one fitted at small garage very close to home. They know me and also service my wife's car. Two questions, though.
1. It struck me that tracking is going to need resetting. Is there anything uber-supercar-ish on a T350 that is likely to catch them out?
2. Should I be changing both sides? Rationale being that I'm paying for tracking anyway, they will have to slacken the good side to do this and possibly create another problem there, and finally, being a Tiv, if one side is gone the other won't be far behind!
What do you think?
BTW, Feedback on the S discs - only been on a week and have noticed a slight difference but only slight. I certainly wouldn't want to have spent more than standard ones and getting the calipers spaced outwards was a real pain
