I find it hard to believe 
, but I've just chopped in the beloved S2 for an awesome Chimaera!
It started just two weeks ago, when I mentioned to 'her indoors' that this winter would be occupied by a full body-off rebuild; strangely, she was less than impressed, and planted the thought 'why not just change it'? Sacrilege!!!!!
Last week, she picked up her SLK from servicing at the local garage, and just happened to mention they had a couple of Chim's coming in this week. It was only polite to have a test drive, or two, and that was it, I was smitten
So, for now at least, farewell and thanks for all the help and great ideas from the forum.
