has any body had a respray in the sheffield area, what sort of job did they do and how much wonga have got to part with... thinking of a total colour change.....see the black beauty in best pics thread.....drool....cheers

Cost-wise, when I had mine done (in Ripley, Surrey - sorry nowhere near Sheffield) it was 200+vat per panel before haggling, with the bonnet counting as 1.5 panels, works out about 10 panels for the whole car (I didn't bother with the roof).

This is for a same colour job, I would expect a colour change to be much more (doors off/stripped, interior bits, under bonnet etc) and also my paint - silver stardust - is probably a lot cheaper than some.

maybe going from blue to black, maybe its cheaper to buy a new one in black......

The black one would probably need a respray anyway. Most 10 year old cars aren't perfect anymore...

From memory from calls, the cost was around the 3.5k mark for same colour respray.
