Blower fuse???

After my recent round trip to Scotland my blower stopped working- heater is still on but no fan coming on??? also no lights on the blower disc of the heater panel
No I find in the handbook that there is no seperate blower fuse- is this true or is it somewere else - like with the power steering
Any other reasons for blower failure- ow my aircon wont work as well but at the mo light still comes on when i flick switch
Any help appreciated

Possibly a fault with the ECU which controls these bits. Or a connection to that unit being loose.

It might be your heater amplifier which is situated beneath the parcel tray in the passenger footwell. My heater blower stopped working and I found out that one of the pins on the heater connector had melted the connector.

So at the moment I'm repairing my heater amplifier. Have ordered a new connector and two new capacitors from Farnell. When I get them should be able to replace the original components on the pcb.

I have to do this because there are no new Heater Amplifiers about.

Try wiggling the connector on the heater amplifier and see if the blower comes on, this will give you an indication that the heater amplifier is the problem.
