Got home from my Spa and Ring trip last night.

Car behaved amazingly all week. Had a bit of a miss when we got to the ferry, turned it off at the checkin desk and when I tried to restart she ran backwards a bit and then the engine got flooded. Battery then flattened while restarting. Quick jump start and we were off again.

Only other problem was boiling brake fluid on the circuits but that was sorted by a 15 minute cool down.

Will sort some pictures out soon. Here's the car entering the reing for the second lap.

Ready for action.

Lap times, don't know yet, will pop them up when I get footage from the videos.

Silencers, nope, risked it and the car was fine. No issues with noise at the Ring, they just didn't seem interested.

She looks high at the front end under load. What springs, dampers and drop links have you?

Really - looks to me like power is on and I would expect some front lift?

She's on Protech's 500 lb fronts and 375 rears. Fully cornerwieghted with 50/50 front to rear with the rear set 15mm higher than the front. Also a set of shpub rear drop links.

Since then shes had 2 turns wound up on the back.

All that sag at the rear is purely under load.

Saying that the rear is a little soft and tbh I think she needs 400 or 425 rears. Just a question of getting round to it. In all honesty the car is very predictable currently and really the tyres are limiting further progression of corner speed.

Next up is front drop links, and poly bushes for the roll bars.

Check this one out. laugh Also the rear right actually rubs the arch going round the Karusell.

Yep, or very close to. I have the pics of the scales at home. May have shifted a little after winding the rears though.

Saw you from afar TC while scoffing my bacon roll. Saw Rich (DIYCerb) and the pics of his headers and charger!

How do you actually change front to rear bias?

I would have thought the only way was filling up the fuel tank.

I have yet to do the corner weighting on mine, but was convinced with the forward mouted engine, its'd likely be a pretty far forward CofG.

Yep mainly by mass within the car, e.g. that was with 1/4 of a tank and me sat in it.

However you can have a little amount of control with the spring platforms. raising and lowering to put more bias on each corner of the car.
