Noble M400 or Ultima?
Discussion
Hi
I'm down to two on the list for the next motor. Crossed off TVR as I am too nervous to go there again.. I have a budget of 40k ish and I'm looking for an M400 (or a GTR). Has anyone gone from a TVR (Cerb to M400)? The Cerb was a great high speed cruiser (when it worked
) but left me a bit flustered if the thing was hustled round the twisties. The Cerb did however have a big punch >100pmh..felt like it was never going to stop accelerating. How does the Noble compare anyone? Obviously in a different league handling wise. Other option is an Ultima but I think I would only be happy with a full fat >640bhp version.. How about the Noble? Reasonably reliable. Not too worried about servicing costs, they cannot be any worse than the Cerb (surely)? How about aftermarket tuning? Does it need it?
Thanks
Andy

This was a 3R (not 400) and I think that was a 4.2 cerb. With regards to Mods the only real one would be exhaust at about 2.5k (inc re-map) Mos cars don't make std figures but this will put you 450+ I think.
