Oh my god, just looking into how much a new wiper arm would be for my S1 as some of the black covering is peeling off making it look a little untidy.

Went onto the B&C website, £86!!!! WTF!!!! Why on earth is is so expensive?!

Official parts always are, although £86 does seem excessive, parents just paid £36 for their Honda rear arm (some scrote pulled it off).

IIRC there's a worthwhile mod you can do to an S1 with a Renault (?) wiper arm to give you washer jets on the blade. The arm and blade cost less than £40, I think. It came up recently but I can't recall if it was PH or Seloc.

Yep, I know what you mean.

Needed a replacement wiper blade last week for my S1. Nothing from Halfrauds was able to fit, so £31 from the Lotus dealership was relieved from my wallet.

At least it should last a few years considering my low annual mileage.

I read somewhere the blade part comes from an old style Renault Espace

Is it true and does anyone have the part number?

Valeo VM15.

You need the S2 wiper arm though. The S2 arm is only about £15 from a dealer though.

No idea why the S1 arm is so expensive.
