Hi there,

I have a radar detector (I think) fitted to the bike, goes red when near scameras, green when not. Don't know the make/model as it came with the bike. For some reason it went spastic this morning, going red then green quickly. Anyone have any ideas? Wasn't going stupid speeds BTW

Your probably passed Tesco which has a sensor which opens the main doors ..
A scammera uses Laser which means if your unit is alerted you, the letter is already in the post if you have been a bad boy !!
There is no defense when they nab you 1/2 mile away ..... except when I was lasered on the dual carriageway I spotted the policeman due you his yellow hi viz jacket realized at 85 kleptons he might do me ( THames valley just write your number down and send the ticket )

Seeing a lorry up ahead I shut the throttle matched the lorry speed and sat alongside the cab so he had no opportunity to read the number plate, as I was shielded from the coppers eyes hehehehe

I believe it may be an Inforad system made by Datatool.

I have one and it is excellent green for OK red for Camera and flashing red when you are exceeding the speed limit for the camera. Downloads updates from the internet and works in europe also.

The support from Datatool is very good so if it is their system they will help sort out any problems.
