Speedferries crossing at 23:55 15th June withdrawn

Just had an e-mail from Speedferries telling me that this crossing from Boulogne has been withdrawn.

They automatically booked me on the earlier 20:00-ish crossing but I figured that was too early. Rang them up and now coming back on Tuesday as Monday is unsurprisingly full. If you can't or don't want to do that best get onto the other companies sharpish I'd say.

After over 30 minutes on the "they'll see" if they can put me on the 2050hrs crossing.

WTF did the cancel the 2355hrs crossing?

Probably needs essential maintenance but bad timing nonetheless.

Could be worse: On Stelvio '04 we got called a week into the trip, just as we were crossing from France to Spain, to tell us that the return crossing they'd booked us on was not actually scheduled at all!

Hope you get on it OK. Coming back later gives me more time to play on the twisties. :-)

Funny but this seems to me to happen a fair bit with these peeps. Personally i always tend to still go with P&O or Seafrance and this sort of thing is one of the reasons I'm reluctant to change.
