You telling me a 'full' log can bring down a whole SQL Server/Windows site? rolleyes What happened to automatic log rotation or any other kind of robustness?

The last time this happened the TVRCC webmaster told me that the buffer was supposed to clear itself automatically but due to a bug somewhere it didn't and so had to be cleared manually.

I actually saved my whole years membership on the RAC discount. So in that respect I guess my TVRCC membership was free too.

Website could and should be better IMO but criticism of the webmaster is strictly verboten so a moot point.

BTW I wasn't criticising the website specifically, just voicing my amazement that the platform can be brought down by something so trivial. I guess I'm used to the Unix / Linux / OSX world.
