Stiffness in a Ferrari 348

My 348 has a very stiff throttle on the initial travel. After a firm push it is fine, but this does make it very hard to pull away / drive in traffic.

Does this sound normal, am I being a wuss, or can you refine the linkage to be more responsitive (and yes I have removed the carpets....)

I read in one of the FAQ's that this is a common fault in 355's ("they all do that sir") so it's not inconceivable that it's common amongst 348's too I guess.

Start at the engine end first ... a 10 second fix could have been the difference between a Dawn Raid in my 348 and a Dawn Raid as a passenger ... I just didn't know what tro look forward until I asked on F.Chat and CS the next day.

It is very easy for the cable to become slack and a very easy fix to tighten it up.
