Looks like they typed a '2' when they meant to type a '1' when they started writing the price.

Identical cars in highly desirable Atlantis Blue or Velvet Blue are £10k less than the seller is asking for this. Surely the rare 'Sport Green' paint can't be the reason for the extra £10k? Doesn't the fact that only two people in the UK ordered an 840Ci Sport in this colour tell you something? That it's not a colour that many people want! Surely the car should be a grand or two cheaper to reflect the difficulty you're going to have selling it at a later date if it's painted in a colour that not many people want... or does it come with half a ton of cocaine in the boot?

Yeah, I'd love an 840Ci Sport - particularly in Atlantis Blue or Velvet Blue - either way with the interior in black with contrasting champagne leather. I saw some fantastic ones last year priced from bout £10k to £14k and was on the verge of doing due diligence on at least one of them, but planning obstacles that have arisen during my attempt to get a new garage built and the loss of a third of my income due to a load of my work being offshored has forced me to put it on the back-burner.Well, it's not the price that particularly concerns me as I have actually been offered (and declined) more for mine in the past. I don't know why people ever state such things in adverts.
Firstly, few people who have been around cars long enough believe it as we know that somewhere, someone may have a better one put away and suddenly it'll come out of the woods to embarrass. Secondly, it just annoys and gets people's goats up!

hey Job - need to update that, been working a couple of years now unfortunately. The yellow csl has been in the family since 1978/9 though and I inherited it. Been in love with them forever and have three others including a genuine bat awaiting resto.
Looks like we have similar taste in cars. My old man has an 840 and I really love the shape - he has his de catted and it sounds good. The csi has always been on my wish list - they must be absolutely awesome - such an understated supercar.
I see you used to have a daimler coupe - went down to reims with a mate in one last summer - what a cool car they are.
