Thanks.
Any idea of price?
Upgrade available?
You could try Jigsaw racing who can supply a quaife LSD for the casing, you will also need to check the main pinion shaft for wear though. Pretty sure they will also quote for a full exchange LSD.Any idea of price?

They also do a nice alloy rear case for the diff.

Fully re-con std diff £235

Although I havent fitted my diff yet,,, I had it rebuilt by quaife (ATB Diff)
I thought I paid £700,, I may be wrong it was a while ago.
One suggestion,, if your having one rebuilt,,,, ask whoever is doing it to drill and tapp the flat part of the bottom of the diff casing.
This will allow you to totally drain the diff in-situ.
Just an idea.

Does the car have a removable hatch cut into the luggage area behind the seats - above the diff? How do you feel about taking the rear screen out? From memory my diff (a salisbury in the Tuscan) will only come out through the top of the chassis if you see what I mean, don't know if the smaller triumph one will come out sideways or downwards but there are plenty here who will know.....
P.S. Rear diff?...... is it 4 wheel drive!!

I'm with timelord, I thought the diff was 3.89 - I've sourced a 3.63 from a spitfire as a replacement to help with cruising.
There were several ratios available 3.89, 3.63 and I think a 3.27?? Some are said to be 'stronger' than others. You can get a pretty complete picture from a google search of Triumph Diffs.
