Agreed! Through my website I get more enquiries from people hoping I can help them with this particular model than any other...and have done for yonks!
I don't even bother looking anymore! They get a quick answer: "Sorry, can't help!"
Frankly, I'm not interested.
Unless one is prepared to pay big money, one of these isn't even worth the search anymore....because every man and his newbie dog are on the same search...and have been for years.
As Bellair said...£3.5K will(probably)only buy you rubbish that's not even worth having....has been like that for years now.
WLN have good cars and if one wants one then one should rightly pay for it.

Well, I think occasionally decent cheaper ones may come up but the problem seems to be that with so many people looking for the same model(that's assuming we're still talking about 325s?) the chances of being quick enough to bag it seem now slim.
Good/decent 'lesser' models can still be had at much lower prices.

Jake...I think we've all been making the mistake of assuming it's a 325i you're after...that's maybe be why we've been quoting such high figures.
Is that the case? Or are you prepared to buy an E30 of a different model? If you're not specifically after a 325i...then it's a completely different kettle of fish and you can still get something quite nice for a lot less money!

But I'd prefer that to the majority of new cars at a similar price.
Like many things thee days it is a question of supply and demand. There are few decent E30's around, and buyers always want the more powerful cars, ie 325i's and 320si's. 20 years ago these were amazing cars, yes today they are no so fast, not so lusted after but they are beautifully built, wonderful to drive and bring back a sense of lost youth to many who now want to buy one for under 9K. A much better car than a Focus / Golf, Honda, Nissan, Peugeot / Citroen / Toyota...for similar cash.
