ECU question.

After locking the keys in the car the other weekend the car doesnt seem to be as quick as before. I mentioned to a mate and he has suggested that the ECU may have dumped the re-map due to the battery being disconnected for so long. Does anyone know if this could be a possibility? My other option is ive got used to it and need more umph

No chance its flash ram. It would have needed to be reflashed.

oh got me remembering! Richard on my previous version of EFI I was sure I could lock my tunes but the latest (well I got to the first BBLogging beta) it required commercial to lock the tune.

Is this right? I know I should go and ask Paul to consider this as there is a risk of a vauxhall dealer doing a service flash and wiping out the good work....

You should be fine locking though, email support@efilive . It might just be a bug in the lastest beta you are using.

yes will email them, I did find another bug and reported it but was told it wasn't a bug but I never followed it up as by then everything was finished.
