Has anyone measured these up or fitted them in a Griff/Chim? The GF was looking at an MX yesterday and I couldn't help noticing that the seats looked like they would be ideal for a Griff idea

They do look very nice, hopefully someone can confirm they have a higher back than the Mk1 MX5 seats,as they were made for very short people. The top of the headrest on these only comes to the very bottom of the back of my head, and i'm only 5'11"!frown

They are tall enough for me and I'm 6' tall (Not that I had a hoot in an MX you'll understand biggrin)

I've seen S2000 seats fitted in a Chim but they were a very tight squeeze and needed modifying with a sash clamp yikes The MX seats seem to be narrower yet are much more supportive than the Griff ones. I'm almost tempted to talk the GF into getting an MX so I can "borrow" the seats for an afternoon hehe

One other seat I have seen that looks good is the Z4 coupe seat.
Its different than the soft top version.
Maybe someone has some pics.....

Hi Alex,

nice car, but looks like more a "griffton".
pink may be probably not the best color for a griff.

MX5 seats are probably too wide at the base and the lower sides. Worth a measure though. Also quite heavy.
