is there an interior light on or something.

if not sounds like a faulty alternator. the fact the battery only lasted a week.

what battery did you fit?

Hopefully it its an interior light left on

The fact that you didn't even put the alarm on means you are leaking power somewhere. You need to get an auto electrical guy to check it out, it is unlikely that you will find anything by visual inspection.
The electrics on modern cars are complex and any earth or coroded live will need to be checked.
Worst case could be a corroded live with the result (depending on where it is) a fire.
Once you get it sorted, buy a battery charger/monitor and use it all the time your not using the car.
The warning lights on the monitor will alarm you to any further problems.

good advise ^^^

alternatly you could yake it to a dealer. If it turns out to be a faulty alternator you need to get it replace. You can check the alterntor by measuring the voltage it is putting out.

the link you gave had a discription in bold at the top of the page. It mentions CAN, if it is anything to do with the CAN lines it is to do with the ECU's, bit of a stab i the dark. Best bet is to ring a dealer and ask them about it, or to ask them to look up the poart for you
