S-Type Sat Nav

My s-type has the 2003 sat nav system disk can anyone help me out with an update ? Beer tokens available feel free to PM me

I've got a 2004 S Type and the disc could do with an update. You can get one from Navtec.com - but be prepared to hand over 200 notes. Ooh er Missus

I have the 2003 edition in my S Type and for £200 update I'll stick with what I have and buy a road map, I think. R.

Which satnav system does the Jag use? It's Kenwood isn't it ? Any idea which model ? Are the disks just for jags or does any Kenwood map update work ? I have the 2005 kenwood map for a Saab for instance...

I would be most surprised if the disks did not contain some anti copy software on board but who knows

You could copy them in 2004 - 2006. I havnt tried anything newer.

Need a double layered blank disc (8.5GB) as file is larger than the standard 4.7GB.

Worth a try discs are what £15 for 5.

I have 2nd DVD from 2007-08 and that works. I wanna try the latest, because that includes more details of eastern europe.

I have 2001 but am after the 2007/8 (as new as poss)
