Hypothetically speaking now; do you guys think there's a living to be made out of buying and selling racing cars?

I'd be interested to hear some thoughts even if it's 'you're an idiot for even asking that question!'.

Bear in mind I said living not profit.....smile

See how many race car traders that existed in 1995 are still around?

What type of racing cars do you want to sell - beat up old Formula Fords or prestige ex-World Championship winning F1 cars.

I'm sure there's a living to be made. I imagine the best place to start is by working for one of the longer-established companies that deals in these types of vehicles. Unless you have an exceptional level of expertise, such that you can convince them that you'd bring something to that they haven't already got, but really need, then offering to make the tea is probably the only place to start! You probably won't get a living wage doing that but it'll be the first step in the right direction. I'd love to be involved with all pre-mid-'90s road Ferraris and all race examples, but acquiring enough money to subsidise my income while I spend years working as a dogsbody in an environment where I can soak up the knowledge needed to become an authority on them is another challenge altogether!
