my new mota - help me with one thing?
Discussion
As I recall my last car got a lukewarm reception from the PH photography folks - so I thought I'd share with you that the Ignis has gone on to another home. I only had it 4 months and there was nothing wrong with it at all, just the right car at the right price fell into my lap.
I'm itching to get out and photograph the new car but haven't had a chance to yet, so I've only got this little teaser:

Can you guess what it is yet?

Anyway onto the request for assistance. Should I remove the stripes that run down the middle of the car? I'll keep the ones on the door, but I'm inclined to remove the others.

Sorry about the bad photo!

I look forward to seeing the full shoot!
I shot a mates Fiesta ST a little while ago, I really enjoy shooting 'normal' cars (I know how that sounds, but honestly its no more fun to shoot a supercar beyond the cache of being around it. Shooting something 'normal' is a greater challenge photographically)....

Now I think of it, I'm sure you've got some external Flashes - and shooting a white car at night with flash could/should look great.....I recently shot a white A3:

thanks for the answers folks, it seems to confirm my thoughts.
regarding lacquer/paint fade: the stripes are just stickers so no lacquer issues, if there is any paint fade it should polish out with a bit of t-cut. worse case scenario i could buy another set of stripes and stick them back on.
trackdemon - I've been desperate to get my hands on a white car to shoot at night with flashes - I didn't think I'd have to buy one myself to be able to get there!
stigmundfreud - surprised you think I should remove them all - plenty out there with just side stripes. A quick ebay reveals evo had one as a long termer

I'm surprised at me too! I've always liked white, on the right car it looks fantastic. I had a v6 Probe (had to state v6 to claw back some honor!) in white and loved it. I like the ST in white but after seeing the Astra vxr in white (no stripes) I found that the shape/style of these hatches look more like their mini-van counterparts. I'd keep the stripes myself, if only to annoy the pedants and refer to them as viper stripes

te if you remove them and not the side ones, either all white or keep stripes. I dont feel that is a car that can carry off white as its only colour though
