well it wasn't going to be long before i had to start putting my hands in my pocket. put my recently purchased chim on a lift at my brothers garage today for a service pre lemans blat. doesn't seem too bad a little corrosion on the out riggers but with a firm prod they seem ok....however a small hole on the offside upper wishbone reared it's ugly head, so the serch for a new or recon if such thing exsists asap any suggestions?

IIRC new ones come with bushes and aren't too expensive.
If buying 2nd hand I definitely change the bushes.

Nah, the new ones come without bushes, I just replaced mine over winter. If you're going to re-bush I'd make sure both sides are replaced to maintain the handling.

Something like this makes light work of extracting the old ones. No heat, no cutting just put it on and wind/tap away till they come out biggrin

Check out SC Power website. If changing one wishbone stay with TVR bushes, otherwise consider fitting Polyflex if changing all bushes. ww.sc-power.co.uk

I'm no expert but I have had the wishbones replaced recently, they put synthetic bushes in at the same time and a 4 wheel alignment. I cannot believe the improvement.
