Is there one? If so where? If all else fails I will go to the classic meet at Shardlow.

Depends what state the cars are in tomorrow for us! Changing disks and pads on the front of the Chim tomorrow and the rears on Wednesday. Did an oil and filter change on the Mini yesterday so may do that on the Chim this week too. (I have read about priming the pump so hopefully if I follow the instructions it will be ok!)

Ayup Prof.

Nothing much, front lower suspension ball joints, they've been an advisory for the last two MOTs, so was half expecting it anyway. Tyres haven't got much life left in them either, they've been on for four years and 20,000, but they're passable. Just waiting for Vredestein Ultrac Sessantra's to become available in 255/45x18, or i'll have to settle for mere Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's.

It's here at the moment...

This is the 1st time it hasn't gone down to Simon & Stuart at Phantom Motors for many years.

That looks "ahem" expensive warren.

Looks like the kind of garage that serves afternoon tea and scones whilst watching four and
a half liters round brooklands!

If I remember correctly the trick is to not faff about to much inbetween getting the old oil out and putting the new oil in, if you fill it up again as soon as the old black stuff is out you shouldn't have a priming problem.wink

Just leaving work so will not be home 'til after 7. A 100ml round trip on a wet evening means I will not be there this evening. Going to the pub across the road for a couple of relaxants after a s***e day at work.

We had a another small but select group tonight.
Daryl and Vanessa, andymadmak and Lurker with the female contents of someone's cradle, wink who had actually just turned up for a meal.
Good selection of cars despite the weather, including an Alfa Romeo truck!

Cheeky bugger.

Yep, not monitoring this board much recently I arrived for a quiet meal oblivious to the car meet, so it was a pleasant suprise to see everyone apart from Stackers.
