Had a great morning at Goodwood on sun, apart from the miserable git in the nice blue cerb who parked next to me. Got out looked at me and just walked off without even a smile. But the was to be the least of my worries. Car went like a dream there. Got in to leave only to find a lack of clutch pedal. Pumped it a few times, managed to get a gear and headed for home. Parked up on the drive after a good run back to Hastings, even managed to give a 911 a slapping. Went to put her away and hay prestow no clutch and fluid all over the floor. Cant belive the old girl got me home. Looks like slave cylinder has gone but will have to put new clutch in as well , as the car has done 28k miles on the original clutch. Would be madness not to do the whole lot at the same time at that mileage. Oh well there goes anoyher £1500. And just as i was boasting to my 911 owning mate just how cheap and reliable the cerb has been over the last 6 years. Should have kept my mouth shut.

My condolences to you, it's not unusual, to quote Tom Jones. At least you weren't stranded at Goodwood - imagine a flatbed parting the crowd to collect the TVR with the puddle underneath.

Might be worth taking out AA homestart plus warrantywink

Best of luck getting it fixed.
