Previously I have always stayed away from the circuit but this year I am staying with PH & WRR.

Where is the best place to go on the Friday evening for cars, a bit of sillyness, good food, beer and banter?

Best place to be on friday eve is in Lemans town, parade and mega party atmosphere after, best bit of the weekend, race is a downer after that!!!!!
Get there mid pm lots of bars, clubs, women(!?!)

They tryed to stop us using houx roundabout last year but in the end they gave up

The last 2 years the french rozzers have stopped the Arnage/Indianapolis corner gatherings. I think it completely ruins it and if the French can't let something like that happen once a year then f##k 'em, we will just have to formulate new plans and start off something new. There's always a bit of fun to be had on the road near BleuNord and that's not just limited to Friday. I always find the Houx Annexe roundabout gets out of hand, with 'self appointed bouncers' trying to stop people from using super soakers - morons, that's half of what it's about !

Nothing wrong with the morning gathering at Indy though. One of the many highlights for me last time Never made it to the drivers parade so might try to this year!

Moose, was Indy' open in the morning last year ? Only as with 2006 i didn't get there until mid-afternoon. Maybe it's just the afternoon they shut it down ?

I last went in 2006, so no idea about 2007 but I gather it was blocked all day

I was there in 2007 but we were told that there was a crash on Arnage/Indianapolis corner thats why the police were there dont no how true that is....

Hi guys, am heading down to LM on the Friday with a mate who's never experienced the Friday fun or Le Mans. Any suggestions of a good route from Calais? Also any good bars in Le Mans town centre??

Quite agree, i like a bit of fun as much as the next, but it does get very silly at times
