Hi

I'm thinking of spending a bit more time on getting my car looking good.

At the moment I wash it with a mitt and zymol wash, I'm thinking of getting a clay bar kit like the meg's one as it seems a good price.

The car has a quite a few swirl marks but they are quite light so for a polish I was thinking Autoglym SRP but I have also seen this;

Is this any good?

What wax and tyre dressing would you recommend? I would like something that lasts a while if possible!

Thanks

Buy some Bilt Hamber clay, it is not too abrasive and is lubricated by water! AutoGlym SRP is wonderful stuff. On top of this you need a sealant, ie Chemical Guys Jetseal #109 and then some Meguiars Glaze #7, followed by a wax. The LSP (wax) does depend upon to colour of the car but most people believe Collinite make the longest lasting waxes if not the wettest looking. Dodo Juice make some great waxes too and if you like them buy some Lime Prime to replace the AutoGlym.

Re tyres and plastics, again areas that divide detailers but Chemical Guys make some top products as do Einszett.
